Blutag Director of Partnerships

 

About Us:

Blutag is a rapidly growing startup in the retail technology space backed by top VCs including Vulcan Capital, Amazon’s Alexa Fund and Techstars Ventures. Blutag is targeting the voice commerce space that is expected to reach $164 billion by 2025. Our SaaS platform connects with custom and popular in market e-commerce platforms to generate branded voice experiences for retailers. 

We are looking for a Director of Partnerships to accelerate adoption of our platform and to drive client success at scale through broader ecosystem development.  Agencies, technology integrators and ecommerce platforms are an increasingly critical component of our growth strategy, and you will shape the way Blutag goes to market with these partners to jointly serve client needs. This role can be remote, and reports to the CEO of Blutag.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Design and implement program for selling through agencies as referral partners, implementation experts, ecommerce platforms and resellers
  • Select and ink deals with beachhead partners, prioritizing in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, finance and legal
  • Ensure these partners are equipped for success (i.e. know how to position, sell and/or implement Blutag solutions), and that partner portfolio is generating inbound leads which convert to achieve revenue targets
  • Work with sales to support merchant implementations, remove roadblocks, and maximize client success stories
  • Work with marketing to evaluate and implement joint go-to-market campaigns that support lead generation and achieve revenue goals
  • Represent Blutag at industry events to raise brand awareness and generate leads
  • Proactively seek out market information in order to effectively develop rapport with partners

What we are looking for:

  • 6+ years working with providers of digital marketing, design and development, systems integration and consulting services, particularly geared toward SMB retail ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience establishing partner programs from ground up, including structuring incentives commensurate with market opportunities, and working across sales, marketing, product, finance, and legal functions for buy-in
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, complex, first-in-kind commercial deals -- from opportunity assessment to execution to launch
  • Demonstrated ability to absorb and learn new domains quickly
